Dr. Kies and his staff provided me with excellent service. I had no discomfort or pain during my cataract surgery … I did not know when the procedure was finished. After cataract surgery with a multifocal implant, I was able to see clearly without glasses for the first time in 30 years. I would recommend the multifocal implant to anyone who wants to see clearly again.

Just wanted to give Dr. Kinder and his staff, a sincere thank you for my recent two cataract surgeries, from the friendliness of the staff to the professionalism shown by all. I thank you for my much improved vision. My entire experience with the practice was very pleasant. The friendliness of the staff exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the personal care I received at Eye Consultants. I feel like Dr. Lumsden is a friend as well as my eye doctor. Dr. Lumsden took time on several occasions to explain the procedure and answer questions. He always had time for me. He was very reassuring and at no time was I pressured to make a hurried decision. My experience at the surgery center was very good. Dr. Lumsden personally asked me, both before and after the surgery, if I was okay. The personnel were also compassionate and gentle. I wore glasses for 20 plus years. It was a whole new world to see without having to get my glasses. I no longer need prescription sunglasses --- more convenient and less expensive.

"I first visited Eye Consultants some 25 years ago. I saw Mashall Jung, M.D., now retired. On my first visit Dr. Jung told me his job was to make my eyes last 125 years. I feel the care and attention he gave me, and the subsequent care and attention Dr. John Kinder is giving me is consistent with the way Dr. Jung described his job. My eye sight is basically what it was 25 years ago with a touch of glaucoma that is well under control."

It was unbelievable how organized and fast everyone was. Dr. Kies and the staff were kind and reassured me that I would be happy that I had chosen to have cataract surgery! I had gotten to the point I could no longer see with my glasses.
After surgery on my first eye, I could see the world was brighter, greens were greener, flowers were brighter. I had more wrinkles but, my TV was like a new one. I could read again – no glasses. After surgery on my second eye, I could not believe how the whole world just opened up. I didn't realize how bad my eyes had gotten until I had them fixed.
I can now see to study the Bible with people to help them. ... And guess what? No glasses! No restrictions for glasses on my driver's license. I am a happier person. ... In fact, I think I smile more now.

Dr. Lumsden was excellent in explaining the procedure and responding to my questions. If I needed it, he was available to provide assistance at any time. The staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful.
It is hard to believe the results from the cataract surgery. I had glasses with poor eyes for over 50 years. Now, I only need reading glasses. Like I told Dr. Lumsden, it's like having H.D. (high definition) vision. The surgery and complete process were outstanding.

In preparation for my cataract surgery in August of 2007, Dr. John Kinder showed me the process of surgery on video. ... I felt very comfortable about the surgeries that would follow.
I am amazed that after wearing glasses for 65 years, that after surgery I only need them for reading. The one thing I am always mindful of is how clear things appear. I now see true color. Before cataract surgery everything had a little tint to it.
Dr. Kinder and staff have always been kind and compassionate. I highly recommend Eye Consultants, Inc. for your eye care.

"Dr. Kinder, the nurses, and entire staff at Eye Consultants were very, very nice to me and took time to explain and answer any questions that I had. ... Dr. Kinder was always there for me. ....They never made me feel like any of my questions were crazy. ...They even called to check on me after surgery.
The surgery I had two years ago corrected both my distance and near vision. I had worn trifocal glasses much of my adult life and I could hardly see anything without my glasses. This surgery was one of the best things I have ever done. ... I don't have to wears glasses at all... I never have to worry about cataracts again... I can sit and read the fine print that runs across the TV screen. I highly recommend this surgery to anyone."

In 2003, I had cataract surgery on both eyes with Dr. Lumsden. Additionally, in 2007 he performed laser treatment on both eyes. Today, I continue to see him for my eye care.
Anytime I have had contact with Dr. Lumsden and his staff, everything was great. Professional, kind, personable, you are not a number, you are a person with a problem and they fix it. ...
